Event Description:
Our community is working together to build the best Information Technology workforce in the country and to be globally recognized as a technology hub. Gainesville Information Technology (GIT), a program of FloridaWorks in collaboration with the Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce (GACC), is an initiative focused on assisting local employers with their hiring needs by recruiting, retaining and continuously upgrading the skills of the IT talent pool.

The GIT Conference is an exclusive event for Gainesville's leading IT employers and human resources staff that recruits IT talent.
The Gainesville Information Technology Conference will address methods to attract and recruit IT candidates, while educating and cultivating IT interest in our future workforce.  The conference provides a platform to identify and discuss community resources needed to staff local companies that need a qualified technology workforce.

Lunch is generously provided by Romano's Macaroni Grill. A networking reception will follow the conference, 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., at Half Cork'd, 116 SE 1st Street.
