BUSINESS MATTERS WORKSHOP SERIES
TOPIC: Working with Millennials

In an increasingly global marketplace, talent is becoming the top currency. In fact, according to a 2012 study, talent, "Talent trumps trade by a large margin when it comes to regional economic development." Despite knowing this, many of our local businesses believe we're coming up short at retaining top young talent locally.

Join us for a panel discussion on working with millennials with members of ACEL (Alachua County Emerging Leaders). Learn about what makes millennials different than other generations in the workplace, and why those traits are valuable to your organization.

PANELISTS:
  • David Arreola, City Commission and past Vice President of ACEL
  • Andrew Romero, Florida Department of Health and Immediate Past President of ACEL
  • Koertni Adams, SharpSpring, ACEL Communications Chair
  • Julianne Raymond, Account Executive, Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce
  • Frank Avery (Moderating), CareerSource North Central Florida, President of ACEL
