The River Phoenix Center for Peacebuilding is hoping that many businesses and organizations will join us on this special annual Unity Day March and Rally to celebrate the variety of ways that our community is making great strides through bold action to improve, on a systemic level, the level of safety and well-being for everyone in our county. Because so much is being accomplished under the radar, we want to take this opportunity to inform and inspire the general public by sharing the myriad of ways many of our community members have been working together to create a coordinated effort to reduce crime, poverty, mental illness, bullying, effects of trauma, juvenile arrests, school detentions and suspensions, We are doing this through unprecedented collaboration, cutting edge programming, and trainings that will offer the necessary skills and resources to assist in the prevention, reduction, interruption, and healing from conflict and violence.

Our county is clearly a wonderful demonstration model of innovation in so many areas and we believe that our marching together for peace and well being will increase our visibility, camaraderie and partnerships.

This is especially important for our children to be a part of as well as moms and dads to strengthen the family unit. 

We will start at the Hippodrome, march to the CIED Center and return back to the Sun Center Outdoor Stage for the Rally. Please wear ORANGE, the color known to ending bullying!  And feel free to march with a banner or sign acknowledging the participation of your company or organization!
