Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Primary County: Alachua County
Secondary Coverage: Levy, Dixie, Gilchrist, and Suwannee counties (as needed)
Compensation: $18.00/hour
Benefits: PTO (accrued at full-time rate), Direct Primary Care membership, Supplemental accident insurance
Position Overview
The Project Coordinator II is a full-time position that supports and expands RTNCF’s program capacity across Alachua County and the surrounding region, including Levy, Dixie, Gilchrist, and Suwannee counties as needed. While sharing core responsibilities with Coordinator I, this role places greater emphasis on community engagement, partner development, fundraising support, and operational coordination. This coordinator works closely with the Program Manager and Coordinator I to ensure programs run efficiently and sustainably.

Program Coordination — Alachua County (Primary)
- Assist with oversight and coordination of repair and upgrade projects serving RTNCF target populations in Alachua County.
- Support the Coordinator I and Program Manager with project selection, scoping, and budgeting.
- Assist with delegation and supervision of AmeriCorps members, volunteers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Manage homeowner communications, intake support, case management follow-up, and construction procedure documentation.
- Ensure confidentiality of all client documents and homeowner information.
- Maintain organized records and documentation to support grant compliance and program reporting.
- Assist with materials coordination, including procurement tracking and inventory management. Cross-County Support — Levy, Dixie, Gilchrist & Suwannee (Secondary)
- Provide on-the-ground coordination support for programs in outlying counties as directed by the Program Manager.
- Assist with homeowner application review, site visits, and project planning across the tri-county region.
- Support volunteer events and repair days in rural counties, including logistics, safety, and volunteer management.
- Help maintain grant compliance, data collection, and reporting for programs funded outside Alachua County.
- Serve as an RTNCF representative during community engagement and outreach activities across the region.
- Recruit and coordinate volunteers for repair events; delegate tasks to ensure a safe and productive experience.
- Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, donors, local leaders, and partners to secure sponsorships, in-kind donations, and community support.
- Assist with fundraising activities including grant writing support, sponsorship outreach, and donor cultivation.
- Promote RTNCF programs through community outreach to raise awareness and expand program reach.
- Represent the organization positively in public settings and act as an advocate for RTNCF’s mission.
- Contribute to the overall success and growth of Rebuilding Together North Central Florida through program and organizational support.
- Passion for nonprofit work and community service.
- Organized, deadline-driven, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and public-facing skills.
- Decisive and confident, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Sufficient computer skills, including familiarity with Google Workspace, Word, and Excel.
- Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and reliable personal vehicle.
- Flexibility for occasional irregular hours and light physical work (e.g., site visits, volunteer events).
- Satisfactory background check.
- Experience in nonprofit administration, grant writing, or fundraising.
- Leadership or community organizing experience.
- Some construction or home repair knowledge.
- Experience with a CRM or program management system.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
