POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Gator Boosters, Inc. at the University of Florida is searching for two Assistant Directors of Development. These positions are responsible for generating Major Gift solicitations of $50,000 and higher for athletic scholarship endowments and facility projects at the University of Florida. Responsibilities include generating and cultivating donor relationships, managing individual donor portfolios, identifying donor prospects, cultivating relationships, and donor stewardship.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Two years’ experience in an intercollegiate athletics or academic fundraising environment
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work discreetly and protect confidential information
  • Self-motivated, organized individual
  • Ability to multi-task effectively
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team and bring innovative ideas to the table in office and development meetings
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds
  • Ability to work a non-standard work week which will include evenings, weekends, holidays and extensive overnight travel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree
  • Experience with creating and monitoring project budgets
  • Experience in Advance and Ticketmaster/Archtics computer systems

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
