The Talent Acquisition Specialist will ensure that best practices are in place to provide an innovative, first-class candidate experience / new hire experience. In addition, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will collaborate with other HR colleagues to streamline and elevate all processes as it relates to the full recruitment/onboarding lifecycle. You will be responsible for creating an incredible seamless candidate experience from candidacy to hire.
Identifying future hiring needs and developing job descriptions and specifications
Collaborating with department managers to compile a consistent list of requirements
Attracting suitable candidates through databases, online employment forums, social media, etc.
Conducting interviews and sorting through applicants to fill open positions
Assessing applicants' knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions
Promoting the company's reputation and attractiveness as a good employment opportunity
Managing internship programs
Assisting with new employee orientation
Coordinating onboarding activities such as background screening and electronic paperwork
Managing agency relationships for temp employment and sourcing candidates
Keeping up-to-date on current employment legislation and regulations and enforcing them within the company
Providing recruitment training, education, support, and reports to leadership and managers
Administrator of applicant tracking system; Evaluation and implementation of new technologies
Participate in developing recruitment campaigns, and oversee all candidate / new employee materials are branded
Ensure amazing onboarding experience from first phone call to post-orientation hand-off
Participate in Talent Acquisition events as needed
Candidate / Customer Experience Focused
Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, marketing, communications, sales or related field. Great experience considered in lieu of degree
Minimum 3 years experience in recruiting, HR, or sales/marketing, preferably in med device
Experience with an applicant tracking system
Strong communication skills / verbal & written
Strong attention to detail
Preferably onsite, remote work considered
Sedentary work: Prolonged periods of sitting & physically handle objects up to 10 lbs occasionally.
Office Setting-Open layout with assigned work station or office.
