Who We are Looking For:

Infotech is seeking a Senior Front-end Engineer with an interest in presentation logic and UI/UX best practices to translate design artifacts and visual elements across a suite of SaaS solutions used in the road and infrastructure construction process. As a Senior Front-end Engineer, you will have the opportunity to serve on multiple projects translating UI/UX design wireframes to produce visual elements within applications and collaborating on front-end product architecture for building robust distributed systems. You will create user-friendly applications across our ITI Products line by designing, coding, testing, debugging, configuring, and documenting software with a strong team of other front-end engineers.

You must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, and 3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

We'd like you to have:

  • At least 5 years of experience with Front-end software development languages and frameworks.

The technical skills needed for this role:

We know that the best engineers can pick up new tech quickly when needed, so don’t be deterred if you don’t have every item on the list below!

  • Languages: JavaScript, Typescript;
  • Advanced knowledge of HTML/HTML5 including Semantic HTML and Components;
  • CSS3 and CSS Preprocessors: SASS, LESS, or Compass;
  • Frameworks: Vue, React, or Angular;
  • Build & dependency management tools such as NPM, Yarn, Babel, and Webpack;
  • Website accessibility standards, guidelines, and tools: ARIA, Section 508 (of the Rehabilitation Act), WCAG, and speech or braille screen readers;
  • Source control management: Git or Mercurial;
  • Service architectures: RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints;
  • Continuous Integration & Deployment
