Fracture’s manufacturing team is looking for an on-site, 2nd Shift Machine Room Team Lead (M-F, 3:15-11:15pm).
Fracture’s Machine Room is responsible for preparing and supplying all materials required by our fulfillment and print room teams. Various CNC cutting tables and glass processing equipment is used to process bulk material. This position will be responsible for floor-level management of all 2nd shift Machine Room team members (2-10 team members), as well as performing the duties and responsibilities of a Machine Room team member.
This role will be hands-on. Each day, you will be required to review daily production stats, interpret those stats, and communicate the workload to the rest of the team in order to ensure production goals are met. You will also perform all the same duties and responsibilities required of a Machine Room team member, including daily handling of large amounts of raw glass and shipping materials.
Salary: $17-$20 per hour (based on experience)
Reports to: 2nd Shift Production Supervisor
Supervisory Position: Yes, up to 10 people per shift
What are the Responsibilities?
Lead production meetings at the beginning of each shift to review daily production goals and assign staff to appropriate areas during the shift.
Foster a positive, cooperative, collaborative, and productive team-based work environment.
Manage deliveries and pickups with delivery drivers.
Ensure all finished glass and kit bundles (along with any shipping materials) are stocked in the fulfillment room and print room several times a day.
Report any system bugs and/or equipment issues.
Participate in the hiring process, train new Machine Room employees, coach existing employees, and evaluate performance of team members.
Ensure all company, safety, and quality policies and expectations are followed at all times.
Provide ongoing safety training and equipment. Bring forward any safety concerns or suggestions for improvement.
Work with other team leads to develop continuity and consistency between production teams.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Note: During our peak manufacturing period (November-January) the work schedule for this role will shift to 6 days per week.
What is required to be considered for this position?
18 years of age or older.
High school diploma or GED certificate.
Ability to work 2nd shift hours, currently M-F 3:15-11:15pm (may shift depending on business needs).
Previous experience as a team lead or supervisor in a manufacturing/production environment.
Experience working in industrial manufacturing/production environments, and hands-on production experience working with hand tools and machinery.
Experience and comfort conducting basic equipment repairs.
Ability to operate common warehouse tools including pallet jacks, hand carts, and forklifts.
High level of attention to detail and organization skills.
Ability to fluently and effectively communicate in English, both written and orally. Excellent professional communication skills.
