Test new vaccines and therapeutics for Sjögren’s Syndrome in laboratory mice.
Collect blood, urine, and fecal samples to determine extent of autoimmune disease development.
Measure antigen-specific T cell responses by ELISPOT, ELISA, and flow cytometry methods.
Perform various laboratory duties required maintaining proper operation of the lab.
Order and inventory supplies.
$44,700; commensurate with experience
Bachelor's degree in biology or a closely related field and three years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree in biology or a closely related field and one year of relevant experience; Doctoral degree in biology or a closely related field.
Experience in microbiology.
Immunology and flow cytometry experience.
Experience with small animal challenge studies.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
