Partnership for Strong Families, Inc. is seeking two Placement Specialists to join our team. These positions will be assigned to the nearest service center in either Trenton, Gainesville, Lake City, Starke or Live Oak FL. This position reports to the Placements Manager.

What You’ll Do:

• Serve as the initial point of contact for child placement needs, working with foster parents, providers, and case management staff.
• Assess and coordinate placements to ensure stability and well-being for children in care.
• Collaborate with case managers, caregivers, and external partners to secure appropriate placements, including foster homes, group homes, and specialized care settings.
• Respond quickly to placement needs, including crisis situations, and provide ongoing support to caregivers.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with licensing and placement regulations.
• Participate in on-call rotations to meet urgent placement needs.

What You Bring:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field (Masters preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience relevant experience in child welfare or a related field.
• Certification as a Child Welfare Case Manager or Protection Professional or eligibility preferred.

• Strong relationship-building skills with foster parents, providers, and case management staff.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and act effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills to secure the best possible placements.
• Decisive and adaptable, with the ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
• Understanding of child welfare policies, placement regulations, and best practices in out-of-home care.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Salary Range: $20.44 to $23.08 an hour
