Residential Case Manager
Position reports directly to: Director of Residential Services
Positions reporting directly to this position: Volunteers & Interns
Primary location: Residential Campus
Employment and overtime eligibility status: Full Time; Some weekends as needed; Flexible Scheduling; Overtime eligible
Pay rate range: $18-20/hour
Recommended Qualifications and Skills:
Social services or related degree preferred, but relevant job experience may substitute. Domestic violence advocacy
and/or trauma informed response training is recommended. A working knowledge of local community services,
resources and providers is preferred along with conflict management skills. All staff must have a commitment to
operating with feminist values and principles in addition to incorporating empowerment based philosophies throughout
services. Must pass a level 2 background screening and provide a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.

Move about the Outreach and Residential properties

Help maintain and monitor residential campus facilities

Drive agency vehicles and transport participants as assigned, this requires a 3 year driving history report for
insurance clearance -
Sit at a desk or work station for up to 6 hours

Participate in light lifting, cleaning/sanitizing and maintenance
-
Operate (including basic troubleshooting) computers, printers and other agency technology
Principal Job Duties:
-
Provide trauma informed individual service management and advocacy including but not limited to supporting a
survivor with identifying goals, providing goal oriented information and referrals, and developing action
strategies while in shelter. -
Coordinate services with other Peaceful Paths programs as well as external community partners as needed and
requested by the resident. -
Offer intervention strategies for survivors to address safety, needs, obstacles, and conflicts.

Coordinate ongoing advocacy services, complete necessary correspondence and processes as appropriate.

Facilitate support groups, life skills workshops and/or house meetings that meet state standards.

Complete and maintain timely record entries, forms and service documentation.
Secondary Job Duties:

Support shelter team with conflict de-escalation and resolution as needed.

Attend any internal program meetings as designated.

Assist the Director of Residential Services and Assistant Residential Director(s) as appropriate.

Attend staff meetings, interagency meetings, and trainings as needed including providing educational
community presentations as a representative of Peaceful Paths. -
Identify and track disparities in services or access for participants.
