Position Summary:

Operations Analyst I: The Operations Analyst I should have introductory/foundational level expertise in the area of planning and related processes, supporting value stream systems and conducting production and financial analyses.  They may manage/carry out responsibilities in some or all of the areas outlined below

 

Operations Analyst II: The Operations Analyst II should have an exceptional level of expertise in the area of planning and related processes and be capable of evaluating data and recommending/implementing solutions, supporting and developing value stream systems and conducting production and financial analyses.  They may manage/carry out responsibilities in some or all of the areas outlined below

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing queries, reports, analysis, and management of product-based inventory flow in order to ensure on time delivery of product to both internal and external customers.
  • Proactively analyzes product-based delivery dates and current status against those required delivery dates.
  • Monitors product-based inventory activity to ensure that product supply is being held for its intended use.
  • Works closely with S&OP to identify, resolve, and/or elevate potential shortfalls in advance of them occurring. 
  • Monitors overall product-based inventory levels and their relation to future anticipated demand. 
  • Perform analysis on non-forecast requests to determine fulfillment plan. Monitor and assist with fulfillment once a plan has been established.
  • Performs production and capacity planning analysis, develops operations metrics, and provides support for continuous improvement.  
  • Supports global production and tissue utilization initiatives
  • Coordinates standard cost updates and performs cost estimates and analyses for new products and Operations improvement projects.  
  • Conducts financial analyses and project payback and ROI
  • Supports Operations quality systems development including statistical modeling and design of experiments.
  • Responsible for building effective relationships and the highest level of customer service with all RTI departments at all levels.

Education/Experience Required:

Analyst I 

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Analysis, Supply Chain, or other applicable business field preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel required

Analyst II

  • 3-5 years minimum work experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
