Event Description:
What are Our County's Most Pressing Infrastructure Needs? How Do They Affect You? Last fall, the Chamber convened a diverse group of citizens to form the Infrastructure Investment Initiative--i3--and tasked them with leading a process to identify the most pressing infrastructure needs in our community, and--importantly--then identifying a viable option to fund those needs. At Tuesday's i3 Public Meeting, Alachua County Public Schools Facilities and Planning Manager Vicki McGrath will provide an overview of the infrastructure needs of Alachua County's K-12 school facilities.

The i3 Steering Committee has spent the last several months conducting research and meeting with public officials and staff to uncover the needs and funding gaps in our public schools, roadways, public safety and parks infrastructure. Now we need you to weigh in at our i3 Public Meeting. In addition to Vicki McGrath's presentation, the i3 Steering Committee will share what they've learned so far, and breakout sessions will provide you with the opportunity to identify and prioritize our County's infrastructure needs. Be part of the process! Let's work together to find the solutions needed to improve our community for generations to come.
