Event Description:
Please join the Chamber's Advanced Manufacturing Council (CAMC) at their next general membership meeting on September 11th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Florida Innovation Hub. The event will encompass an overview of both the Innovation Hub and its many innovative companies as well as the UF Office of Technology Licensing and opportunities for corporate collaboration.
The Florida Innovation Hub at the University of Florida provides its resident companies with office space, laboratories, conference rooms and other resources to improve their likelihood of success. The Innovation Hub enables its tenants to devote their limited initial resources to the advancement of their technology and market strategies rather than traditional business operations.
The Office of Technology Licensing (OTL) at the University of Florida was established in 1985 to work with inventors to facilitate the transfer of technologies created at UF to the commercial sector for public benefit. We are dedicated to assisting employees who feel they have something new and useful that is potentially able to be patented or copyrighted.
You will learn how to access potentially patentable or copyrightable technologies and with the help of UF's Office of Technology Licensing (OTL) transfer technologies created at UF to the commercial sector.
In addition, visit the breathtaking Florida Innovation Hub to discover tech startup companies and the rich resources available through this super incubator. Tours will be availalble throughout the evening.
