The Florida Museum of Natural History and Alachua County Library District will host “NEA Big Read Meetup: Evelyn the Adventurous Entomologist” Jan. 30, 2021 from 10 to 11 a.m. In this FREE virtual book discussion, library staff and scientists special guest speakers will talk about the children’s book “Evelyn the Adventurous Entomologist: The True Story of a World-Traveling Bug Hunter” and be joined by Christine Evans, the book’s author. This meetup is best suited for children in grades 1-5 and is part of the NEA Big Read, a series of events building community while lifting the voices of women in science.
