The Florida Museum of Natural History and Alachua County Library District will host “NEA Big Read Children’s Book Meetup: Finding Wonders” March 27 from 10 to 11 a.m. In this FREE virtual book discussion, library staff and scientists special guest speakers will talk about the children’s book “Finding Wonders: Three Girls Who Changed Science” and be joined by Jeannine Atkins, the book’s author.This meetup is best suited for children in grades 5 and up and is part of the NEA Big Read, a series of events building community while lifting the voices of women in science.
