The National Day of Joy was inaugurated in 2019 by Comfort Keepers. It is registered
with the National Day Archives to be celebrated annually on the last Wednesday in
June. Over the last 7 years, National Day of Joy events have been held in communities
across the country. Newspapers, magazines and television news programs have
reported on the Day of Joy, and thousands have shared their experiences on social
media.
