Commissioner of Agriculture Nikki Fried will be visiting the Greater Gainesville region to speak on multiple topics and engage with the local community.
Nikki Fried, Florida’s 12th Commissioner of Agriculture and Consumer services, is a lifelong Floridian, attorney and passionate activist.
Born and raised in Miami, Commissioner Fried graduated from the University of Florida. After graduating she spent time working for the Alachua County Public Defender’s Office.
Running as a Democrat she won the 2018 Commissioner of Agriculture election and is the first woman to hold that position.
