FloridaWorks, in collaboration with the Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce, is hosting a four-part series of breakfast talks for local employers. Company Lifestyle is a series of organizational culture workshops where employers can discuss strategies to build or enhance company culture, address issues in the workplace and establish a network of support. Company Lifestyle provides access to educational resources and tools through our presenters who experience proven success in establishing desired organizational culture for their company.
Session One will take place Friday, October 11 7:30-9:00 a.m. at the Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce, 300 East University Ave., Gainesville, FL 32601. This free-of-charge event is open to all businesses (both Chamber members and non-members).
Session One: How Smoking Cessation Programs Can Save Your Company Thousands features a presentation by Tobacco Free Alachua. This presentation also includes guest speaker, Ellen Everette, Human Resources Coordinator with Sandvik Mining. Ellen Everette will speak about how Sandvik transitioned to a 100% tobacco-free campus.
