Event Description:
Join the Greater Gainesville Young Professionals for their next STRIVE event! Every month, GGYP chooses a different philanthropic focus.
This month, we are partnering with Crafting Care to crochet worry worms for the Child Advocacy Center!
Don't know how to crochet? Perfect! Crafting Care is there to teach us the way. The "worry worms" that we will be making are cute, squiggly companions that come with encouraging messages that will brighten any child's day. And we are happy to be giving them to the Child Advocacy Center! The Child Advocacy Center (CAC) in Gainesville provides a child-friendly, safe and supportive environment for children who have experienced abuse and neglect. The CAC is a place where professionals – social workers, counselors, law enforcement officers, state attorneys, victim advocates, medical professionals and others – work as a team to coordinate investigations and interventions.

So, join us for a fun evening for a great cause!
