Event Description:
Frogs play an important role in food webs, benefit humans by eating pests that transmit disease and act as indicators of an ecosystem’s health. Join the Florida Museum for a free training workshop Feb. 9 from 6 to 9 p.m. that allows citizen scientists to help monitor local frog populations. Pre-registration is required and participants must be 10 or older. The museum is partnering with the Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo for this Frog Watch USA event, a citizen science program of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.
