Join the Greater Gainesville Young Professionals for their next STRIVE event!
GGYP's STRIVE events are focused on philanthropic efforts and civic engagement. This month's focus is on our local nonprofit, Rebuilding Together of North Central Florida. Rebuilding Together works on repairing homes, revitalizing communities and rebuilding lives so they can provide safe homes and communities for everyone.
On March 25th from 9am-1pm, GGYP will be helping to [Re]build the front & back stairs and work on a ramp project. GGYPs can expect some light carpentry and a lot of fun! Rebuilding Together asks that volunteers wear close-toed shoes and clothes that you don't mind sweating in. They will provide tools, gloves, eye protection, insect repellent, sunscreen, snacks and cold Gatorade & water. Lunch will be provided after we are finished volunteering.
This event is just for members of the community that are between the ages of 21-39.
