GiGi's Playhouse is a community of achievement centers serving individuals with Down syndrome and their families. We offer therapeutic and educational programs free of charge so that cost is never a barrier to participation or achievement. Beginning as a single location in a Chicago suburb, GiGi’s Playhouse has grown into an international phenomenon; spreading awareness and inspiration to everyone it touches. Nineteen permanent locations, including our first international Playhouse in Queretaro Mexico, foster consistent participation, parent networking and stronger belief. All of our programs aim to maximize self-confidence and empower individuals to attain their greatest potential! By helping individuals with Down syndrome reach their greatest potential, we continue to change outdated perceptions and enrich the quality of many more lives. Celebrating our 10^th anniversary in 2013, we have over 100 requests for new Playhouses worldwide.
 
We are SUPER EXCITED to announce that GiGi's Playhouse Gainesville, Florida will host its first annual “Believe in the Build” Benefit & International Gala on March 21, 2015 at Emerson Alumni Hall.  The gala is our largest and most important fundraiser of the year, and it’s key to expanding our voice in the world. Simultaneous gala events will take place in multiple locations nationwide to celebrate the many achievements of our individuals and families. Because each location will host its own event, GiGi’s Playhouse will be hosting over 7,000 people in 19 markets! We look forward to celebrating this unbelievable journey with you!
 
This year's event will feature founder of GiGi’s Playhouse Inc., Nancy Gianni and Gigi Gianni.  Activities will include a private VIP Cockatail/Reception for sponsors and honorees, a sit-down dinner, open bar, silent auction, live auction, raffle, wine pull, and more! An exclusive viewing of the "One Million Voices" Traveling Gallery.  Most importantly, the gala provides our individuals the opportunity to celebrate their achievements, and continue to change the way people view Down syndrome through their amazing self-confidence.
 
Every voice counts, and we invite you to share your voice and show your support. You can be a true hero in the lives of children and adults with Down syndrome and their families by supporting our 2015 Benefit as an event sponsor. This benefit event will help fund Florida’s first GiGi’s Playhouse, which is targeted to open in Gainesville in June 2015.
