Event Description:
Join us as we not only celebrate the new organization that is the Humane Society of North Central Florida but also their new spay/neuter expansion! The Alachua Humane Society has been helping "furry ones" in our community since 1974. In 2018, the Alachua Humane Society, Gainesville Pet Rescue and Helping Hands Pet Rescue joined together to become the Humane Society of North Central Florida and accomplish even more in the community. HSNCF is the community's largest limited in-take, no-kill rescue shelter. Their mission is to eliminate the needless euthanasia of healthy and treatable pets in North Central Florida.
There will be drinks, hors d'oeuvres, music, tours and more!
The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will commence at 5:15pm.
