Home Instead Senior Care is offering FREE home safety checks!
Resent research has found that :
To prevent seniors from Emergency Room visits, Home Instead Senior Care of Alachua is devoting two days in which our certified CAREGivers will go into Seniors homes to check for potential hazards. This is a free service for those Seniors wanting to be proactive, or caregivers concerned for their loved ones. If you, or someone you love is interested in a complimtary home safety check please call the Home Instead office at (352) 336-3388.

In the United States, Home Instead, Inc., franchisor of the Home Instead Senior Care® franchise network, completed:
¹ 100 telephone interviews with emergency room physicians
² 600 telephone interviews with seniors age 65 and older, and
³ 600 telephone interviews with adult children who have parents age 65 or older

• 85% of seniors have done nothing to prepare their homes for aging. ²
• 65% of seniors’ homes have at least one posible safety issue, according to adult children. 3
