Event Description:
On Saturday, April 25th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm you can drop off your unused or expired medication in the cities of Gainesville and Newberry.
**Please note that we are unable to accept any sharps, needles, or compressed/aerosol cans such as inhalers at our dropoff locations. Allowed medications include any over the counter or prescription medications, vape cartridges (i.e. pods), vape liquids and vaping devices without the battery. Exceptions include sharps, syringes, vaping devices with battery and aerosolized drugs (i.e inhalers) for safety reasons during disposal. For more information, visit: https://takebackday.dea.gov/ **
