Sherlock Holmes and the Adventure of the Suicide Club by Jeffrey Hatcher, directed by Bradley T. Hicks, onstage at the Acrosstown October 10-26!
Welcome to the Suicide Club— a secret London society where some of Europe’s most powerful men gather to play a game: the game of murder. But the club has a new member, Sherlock Holmes: brilliant, brooding, the greatest detective in the world. Does Holmes wish to die? Can his friend Dr. Watson save him? Or doesn’t Holmes want to be saved? A new thriller featuring the famed sleuth in a tale full of mystery, romance, twists and chills.
Sherlock Holmes & the Adventure of the Suicide Club runs Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm, from October 10 through October 26 at The Acrosstown Repertory Theatre, in the Baird Center at 619 South Main Street in Gainesville. A two-for-one (half-price) preview is scheduled for Thursday, October 9.
Tickets are $10 for the general public and may be purchased in advance online, by calling the Acrosstown at 352-BE IN ART (234-6278), or at our ticket partners Wild Iris Books (22 SE 5th Avenue, Suite D-- off Main Street near the Co-Op and the CMC) and D-Lites Emporium (4216 Northwest 16th Boulevard-- in the Fresh Market plaza). Tickets are also available at the door thirty minutes before showtime.
