Event Description:
Join the Greater Gainesville Young Professionals as they raise funds and awareness! November is Epilepsy Awareness Month so all profit will benefit the Epilepsy Foundation of Florida and go toward research for a cure.
Epilepsy is a neurological disorder that affects 1 in every 26 people. There are more people living with Epilepsy than with autism spectrum disorders, Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis and Cerebral Palsy, combined. Yet, Epilepsy receives one-tenth the research funding than any of those neurological disorders.
For Purple Pint Night, we will be selling $10 tickets that include a commemorative glass purple pint, one raffle ticket and a wristband that will give you $1 off each beer.
100% profit will go towards research for a cure. Though this event is hosted by GGYP, it is open to ALL AGES!
