Event Description:

Join us for a Reverse Job Fair for Own Your Future (OYF) Business Bootcamp Graduates!

Why OYF Graduates? People who can run their own business make better employees. OYF teaches the entrepreneurship mindset to all participants looking to start their own business or advance their careers. Whether it's client relationships, finance, or branding, our participants are well-versed in the mechanics of running a business and consequently will do a better job working for yours.

What is a Reverse Job Fair? During a Reverse Job Fair, the tables are turned! Job seekers are invited to set up a table with copies of their resume, and other visuals that demonstrate why they are a great candidate. Employers are invited to come and visit job seekers' tables, where potential candidates can pitch their experience and highlight their strengths and skills.

Reverse Job Fairs are a win-win for everyone. Employers can walk into a room full of candidates with similar skill sets, set up multiple interviews in a short time frame, and learn things that might not have been discussed in a traditional interview or application. Job seekers can show off their unique style and have access to multiple job opportunities.

Here’s how it will work:

1-Employers register here.

2-If you have specific positions you are recruiting for, complete a job order form and send it to andrea@gainesvillechamber.com. We will add the position to EmployFlorida.com which will allow both candidates for the event and job seekers from around the state of Florida to apply.

3-For questions contact Andrea Mender, Director of Workforce Services at the Greater Gainesville Chamber. 352-334-7133 or andrea@gainesvillechamber.com.
