Sonny's BBQ started in Gainesville in 1968 and has been a tradition ever since.  In his honor, Sonny's made the decision to build the first prototype here on Archer Road.  The new restaurant represents Sonny's continued investment in the Gainesville community.

In celebration, Sonny's will be hosting a Media Preview beginning at the original Sonny's BBQ on Waldo Rd and will finish up at the brand new Sonny's BBQ Prototype on Archer Road.

Throughout the day, guest will enjoy Pitmaster Cooking Demos, Interview opportunities, a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and of course, lots of delicious BBQ.
