Event Description:
Small businesses make up around 60% of all businesses in the Greater Gainesville region and often share the same struggles. The small business support group is an opportunity for owners of businesses with 25 employees or less to come together and share ideas, best practices, experiences and ask questions in a safe and productive environment. Spaces fill quickly and are limited to 30 attendees.

September's focus, "Is your website easy for everyone to use? Common accessibility mistakes to avoid," will introduce common website accessibility issues that can make it harder for some customers to use a business’s website. We'll look at practical examples involving readability, color and contrast, images, and everyday design choices that can create barriers. Attendees will leave with a better understanding of what website accessibility means and simple things they can look for on their own sites.
