Event Description:
The Greater Gainesville Chamber and Southern Scholarship Foundation invite you to join us for the grand opening of the SSF Learning Center & Office Complex with furnishings generously donated by the Rembert Family Foundation.
The Southern Scholarship Foundation has been in business for 65 Years.
Through rent-free housing and cooperative living, Southern Scholarship Foundation (SSF) supports students who lack financial resources, demonstrate excellent academic merit, and exemplify good character attend institutions of higher education. This provides an “Education for Life” where students learn valuable leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
Years in the making, this building will serve as a study hall open 24 hours a day to SSF’s residents with additional conference and office space.
Enjoy light refreshments, speeches, and tours of the SSF learning center as well as the houses on site.
The Official Ceremony will commence at 1:00pm with the Ribbon Cutting following at 1:30pm.
