This event will be held at the GoodCareers Center within the newly renovated Goodwill store on SW 34th Street. We would love for you to join us to learn more about our impactful program and explore potential opportunities for your organization to get involved!

TeensWork Alachua is a dynamic summer employment initiative funded by the Children's Trust of Alachua County that connects Alachua County students aged 14-18 with local businesses for 6- 8 weeks each summer!

Our mission is to help students build professional work experience, gain essential career-readiness skills, and network with community leaders, all while making a positive impact on the local workforce. We provide students with paid internships at $13/hour (for up to 25 hours a week) at no cost to the business!

At this Open House, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Learn more about how your business can partner with TWA and host student interns this summer.

• Discover the benefits of providing local youth with meaningful work experience, mentorship, and networking opportunities.

• Meet past partners and hear firsthand about the positive impact the program has had on both students and businesses in our community.

• Learn about you can use our facilities free of charge to host community events and trainings!

The event will feature raffles, appetizers, and a selection of beer and wine, along with great opportunities for networking and making new connections with fellow community leaders.
