Event Description:
The Greater Gainesville Chamber's Alachua County Education Compact Amazing Give Virtual Comedy Kickoff Party is the beginning of the 24-hour giving campaign for The Amazing Give.
We will have a Comedian who is a teacher, a virtual escape game, and a Story Corp Connect presentation on how to record stories about the teacher that inspired you or family members of a teacher can record stories about the teacher's passion.
We plan to raise funds to purchase supplies for the 150+ new teachers starting their careers in Alachua County Public Schools this fall. This way, we can help them create a better and safer environment for their classrooms and a more educational one for our county’s students.
