Gainesville Big Band

The Gainesville Big Band assembles some of the best professional jazz musicians spanning the southeast. Under the direction of Marco Thomas, this live 17-piece big band, delivers a rich, full sound-- from Basie to Ellington, Gershwin to Miller, Porter to Mercer, Vegas to Broadway hits, including your favorite 60s television soundtracks, and pop. Since 2007, the band has brought big band jazz to Gainesville and the surrounding areas.
