About
DID YOU KNOW???
Alachua County has the widest racial disparity in reading scores in Florida. Shockingly, two-thirds of low-income children in our community struggle to read. But together, we can change that.
At PEAK Literacy, we believe that strong literacy skills are not just important for success in reading but they are the foundation from which kids have access to the educational, economic, and social resources that lead to lifetime success.
You can help in just 15 minutes a day! Volunteer to teach reading lessons virtually four days a week or join us in person at local low-performing schools, afterschool programs, or low-income neighborhoods.
Let’s work together to Provide Equitable Access for Kids and ensure every child becomes a confident, eager reader. Join us in building a stronger, more literate Alachua County today! -
