When Andy and Diana Pineda moved up from Miami to Gainesville they thought of the idea of opening up a Cuban spot. Their missions was to create all of the authentic Cuban dishes they make at home for the people of Gainesville. With the help of Andy's brother-in-law, David Fernandez, the family went ahead and launched under a tent selling empanadas, and then sandwiches. Today Cuban Dudes is a successful food truck establishment, and there are much more plans for the future.
